Student assistant for 2023
to support the Coordination Office for the Advancement of Women I Gender Studies I Diversity
The call for applications is addressed to students of the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna.
Your qualification:
- Basic knowledge in Gender Queer Decolonial Studies.
- Experience in organizing events
- Support in public relations, e.g. knowledge in dealing with social media
- Sensitivity for diversity and for intercultural communication
- High social competence and communication skills
- Very good knowledge of MS Office
- Very good knowledge of the German and English language, both written and spoken
- Willingness to work in a self-organized manner
Some of your tasks are:
- Assisting in the administration and organization of the event series 
- Writing articles for the announcement of events
- Contributing your own ideas
Requirements:
A previous employment as a student employee at the Academy must be at least 1 year ago.
It is not possible to hold an additional position as a student employee at the Academy at the same time.
Third-country nationals require an employment permit without a labor market examination from the AMS before the beginning of the contract and the start of work.

Payment is provided by the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna.
Students will receive a contract as a student employee with a monthly gross salary of EUR 386.80 plus special payments for 6.5 hours per week from April 1st - December 31th, 2023.
The working hours can be arranged after consultation with the head of the coordination office. Vacation and compensatory time is to be consumed after consultation.
