Student-employees for the stand support at the education fair BeSt

For the stand support at the education fair BeSt 2024 (Thu.7.–Sun.10. March 2024) we are looking for students who will offer study information about the study programs at the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna. This call for applications is addressed to all regular students of the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna.
Your tasks are:
- Stand support at the fair for at least 1 full day (approx. 8:30 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.); ideally 2 days
- Informing and answering questions of the visitors
- Communication with interested students and visitors
- Helping to prepare the stand and the information material
- Availability to attend a two-hour training session (tba)
Qualifications:
- Very good knowledge of the study programs offered at the academy
- Very good knowledge of the admission exams at the academy
- High social competence and very good communication skills
- Open mindedness towards interested persons
- Very good knowledge of the German and English language
- High level of personal responsibility and willingness to cooperate with colleagues
- Sensitivity for diversity and transcultural communication
- Knowledge about living, working and studying in Vienna and in Austria.
Requirement:
- A previous employment at the Academy must have taken place at least 6 months ago
- It is not possible to have an existing employment as a student employee at the Academy at the same time
- Third-country nationals require an employment permit from the AMS without a labor market examination before the beginning of the contract and the start of work:

- Proof of payment of the ÖH fee for the current semester before signing the contract
Payment is made by the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna. Students will be marginally employed for the entire month of March. The actual payment will be calculated according to the number of hours worked, but must not exceed the marginal earnings limit for 2024 (518,44 euros).
