Art School Alliance (ASA) CAA Hangzhou

The Art School Alliance offers one student from the Academy (Institute for Fine Arts) to study tuition-free at the China Academy of Art (CAA) Hangzhou (China) in the winter semester 2024/25.Partial funding of EUR 600.00 per month via the scholarship for students of universities of the arts abroad (https://grants.at/de/) or via the Erasmus+ program (EUR 700.00) is possible. Affordable accommodation (600€/semester) will be provided.

 

Language of instruction: Chinese

Regular courses taught in English: Calligraphy, Chinese painting, international courses/workshops.

CAA offers a free Chinese language course to its incoming students.

SUBMISSION

Application is open to regular students of the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna in the field of study Fine Arts from the third semester of study.Participation in the context of the final thesis is also supported.

Submissions are to be uploaded as a PDF file (max. 10 MB) and should include the following elements:

To use the submission system you have to register once (if you do not have an account yet) - please use your @student.akbild.ac.at - address to identify yourself as a student. Login is NOT possible with the Akademie Online password, as this is a separate system.

 

AWARDING PROCEDURE

In a selection meeting, the mobility coordinators (https://www.akbild.ac.at/Portal/internationales/international-office/qualitaetssicherung) will decide on the awarding of the ASA scholarship to an applicant. The result will be announced via e-mail by Mid-March 2024 at the latest.

We request serious applications only! Students who receive an acceptance and cancel without a valid reason will be blocked from all mobility programs of the Academy for one year.
