Registration Short Presentation Exposé Dr.phil. 8.6.2026

Doctoral students in the Doctor of Philosophy (Dr. phil.) program who first enrolled in or after the winter semester 2025/26 can register here with their preliminary exposé for the short public presentation on 8 June 2026.

 

The dissertation project must be presented before the conclusion of the Dissertation Agreement in the course of the first two semesters on the basis of a preliminary exposé as part of a short presentation open to all members of the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna. After successful registration for a presentation date, the project will be presented to an academic advisory board, consisting of supervisors of the Dr.phil. program. 10 minutes are allocated for each presentation, followed by time for discussion. The academic advisory board provides a recommendation regarding the conclusion of the Dissertation Agreement. The Dissertation agreement is therefore based on both a preliminary exposé and a short public presentation.
