ICON 100 years of authorisation for women

The Coordination Office for the Promotion of Women I Gender Studies I Diversity of the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna invites students of the Academy to submit drafts for the design of an ICON for the event series "100 Years of Authorisation for Women to the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna". The competition is open to ordinary students of all institutes.

For the ICON design we ask you to submit designs according to the following criteria:

SUBMISSION
Participation is possible for both individuals and teams. A maximum of 2 designs can be submitted per person or team.

Printable, monochrome or multicolored drafts as JPG must be submitted. Please note that the ICON will be used for the Academy's website and social media channels as well as for printed material, e.g. invitation cards. (For the printing material, the winning design can be requested as a tif, for the jury as a preview the submission as JPG is sufficient).

The submitters affirm that they are the owners of the rights to the design. They agree that the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna may use their submitted designs in printed and digital form to announce the event series, naming their authors. All submitters agree to a publication with mention of their authorship.

The drafts must be uploaded by 29.10.20 14:00.

Either up to 2 individual designs or 2 team designs!

PREMIERATION
The jury selects a design from all submissions. The selected subject will be awarded a prize of 500 euros.

JURY
The winners of the competition will be selected by a jury of experts.

The selection will be announced in early November 2020.
