Temporary Financial Aid

The temporary financial aid serves those students who find themselves in an unforeseeable social situation of need which is not self-inflicted and where state subsidies are not available.

The help in special circumstances of the municipality of Vienna , the needs-based minimum benefit and the housing grants are potential subsidies.

The situation of need must be presented convincingly and a certain financial budget planning of the applicant is a prerequisite. This scholarship does not offer regular support to students, but rather temporary financial relief, for which reason students may apply for this aid as a lump sum. Please understand that living costs (such as rent, energy costs, food, etc.) cannot be compensated by the temporary financial aid.

Temporary financial aid can be applied for at any time during the year.
