Temporary Financial Aid

The help in special circumstances of the municipality of Vienna , the needs-based minimum benefit and the housing grants are potential subsidies.

The situation of need must be presented convincingly and a certain financial budget planning of the applicant is a prerequisite. This scholarship does not offer regular support to students, but rather temporary financial relief, for which reason students may apply for this aid as a lump sum. Please understand that living costs (such as rent, energy costs, food, etc.) cannot be compensated by the temporary financial aid.

Temporary financial aid can be applied for at any time during the year.

Necessary for submission

• Completed application form
• Actual confirmation of enrolment
• the residence registration form (“Meldezettel”)
• Tabular curriculum vitae

An application for temporary financial aid can be submitted throughout the year and is only possible via https://calls.akbild.ac.at/.
To use our submission system https://calls.akbild.ac.at/ you have to register once (if you do not have access yet) - please use your @student.akbild.ac.at address to identify yourself as a student. Login is NOT possible with the AkademieOnline password, as this is a separate system.
