Competition for Rundgang 2025

The Academy of Fine Arts Vienna invites students of the Academy to submit drafts for poster motifs for the Rundgang 2025. Regularly enrolled students from all institutes are eligible for participation.
The Public Relations Department will have the motif set in accordance with the Academy's visual identity. By participating in the call for entries, the participants agree that the submitted motif may be overwritten and cut in the context of the graphic design of the invitation card and the poster for the Rundgang 2025.

Submission
No more than three drafts may be submitted per person.
Printable, single, or multi-colored designs as JPG and as tif in a minimum resolution of 300dpi are to be submitted. Designed for portrait format and suitable for print formats up to DIN A1 (at least 59,4cm x 84,1cm).
The submitters affirm that they are the sole holders of any rights to their design. They agree that the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna may use their submitted poster motifs in printed and digital form, including the printing of logos and the naming of the website, provided that their authorship is acknowledged. All submitters agree to the publication of their poster motifs with mention of their authorship.
Application period: October 8th to November 12th 2024, 11:00 a.m.
You have to submit up to 3 motifs in one submission form!

Award
The jury will select one motif from all the entries, which will be used to promote the Rundgang and will be awarded a prize of EUR 500,-.
Jury
A jury of five experts will choose the winner of the competition.
The selection of the motif will be announced in mid-December 2024. The award-winning poster will be displayed in the urban space and at the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna from January 2025. It will be distributed digitally on all channels of the Academy and as a press photo.
