Call for Applications: Student Assistant for summer semester 2025 (6.5 hours/week)

The Rector’s Office offers a student assistant for the summer semester 2025. The job is aimed at regular students (BA, MA or Diploma) of the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna.

Responsibilities:

  • Publication series of the Academy: assistance with the relocation of the collection to Schillerplatz and inventorying
  • Assistance with book presentations
  • Assistance with the promotion of the Publication Series and book sales
  • Digitization of documents

Formal Requirements:

  • Any previous employment as a student assistant at the Academy must have ended at least six months before the start of a new contract
  • Proof of enrollment for the current semester before the start of the contract
  • Proof of payment of the current semester's student union fee (ÖH fee) before signing the contract
  • The student must not complete their studies during the employment period.
  • No additional position as a student assistant at the Academy at the same time

Qualifications:

  • good organizational skills, practical sense
  • Structured way of working
  • Affinity for working with and on publications
  • Good social and communication

If you are interested, please submit your application consisting of curriculum vitae and letter of motivation including your first and last name, address, matriculation number as well as your field of study at the Academy.

Payment is made by the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna. Students will receive a contract as a student employee with a monthly gross salary of EUR 438.60 plus special payments for 6,5 hours per week from March – Juni 2025.

The working hours can be arranged in consultation with Martina Huber (management of the Rector’s office). Holiday and compensatory time are to be consumed by arrangement.
