Social stipend (retrospectively for WiSe 2023/24)

Deadline: Wednesday, May 15, 2024, 11:00am

All regular students of the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna who paid tuition fees in the preceding semester and didn't receive a refund from another institution are welcome to apply retrospectively for a social stipend in the following semester.

Travel Allowances for Ph.D. Candidates

The travel allowances support regular doctoral students of the Academy in presenting dissertation/Ph.D. project results at international conferences and symposia or in the presentation of art projects.

UNIQA Art Prize

The UNIQA Art Prize 2024 was launched on the initiative of UNIQA Insurance Group AG in cooperation with the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna. It will be awarded biennially, creating a new highly endowed art prize for outstanding artistic achievements.

The temporary financial aid serves those students who find themselves in an unforeseeable social situation of need which is not self-inflicted and where state subsidies are not available.

Exhibit Gallery - exhibition project autumn 2025

From now on, proposals for an exhibition project will be accepted, which will be presented in the Exhibit Galerie at Schillerplatz in autumn 2024. The call addresses people within the Academy as well as graduates and external curators.
